Hi! I have a canon SX 620 HS digital camera, and I was wondering if there is a way to force turn on the flash. There are only two flash options on this camera, auto flash and flash off, but I’ve seen others that have cameras where they can force the flash on. Is that a possibility with this camera?

Greetings,
See page 134 of the user guide. Raise the flash. Use the arrow keys to select between Auto, On or Off.

Auto and off are the only option. Is there supposed to be an on option?

Take a look at this article - it shows you the info pretty in-depth, as well as the different options available in each mode.
