The “reset all” button for my PowerShot sx60 is grayed out and I’ve tried taking the battery out and pressing the on button for 30 seconds. I’ve also put it in several different modes including auto and manual and tried but it’s still grayed out. Any other suggestions? Thanks!

Hi and welcome to the forum:
There is no reset button on the SX60: resetting (to factory defaults) is done through the menu.
What are you trying to achieve, and where is this button that you have been pressing?

Yes, how do I reset to factory defaults? In the menu, there is a reset all but it’s grayed out and you can not select it.

That function will be greyed out for auto modes. Please set the mode dial to M, Av or Tv and try again. It should not be greyed out this time.

Read the User Guide for the camera. Download it if you don't have it. It will tell you how to reset the camera to factory defaults, and if there is any mode setting(s) under which the Reset menu item is not available.

I have done that and followed the instructions, it’s still grayed out and inaccessible. I give up 😊
