Help! I can't find a way to get support!
Back in March 2025 I bought a Canon Powershot IXY 650/ELPH 360 on Walmart. I got the camera and everything was working flawlessly until about 3-4 weeks ago. Out of the blue, multiple vertical lines in different colors appeared on the LCD. I've seen similar situations in broken displays but not only this one is physically intact, but the camera didn't fall or anything. I tried to go to Canon website for support and when trying to register the serial number I got a message saying either the number is invalid or the camera was not meant to be sold in the US. What should / can I do about it? The camera serial is 9110540XXXXX BTW.

Greetings,
When you purchase grey market merchandise. (Products intended for sale in another country or region) you run the risk of warranty and support issues. This is why it's important to purchase from authorized Canon dealers
Walmart is an authorized Canon dealer, but sellers in its marketplace often are not. You can call Canon USA and inquiry if they can help.

You may not have warranty but the service center might be able to perform the repair. You'll have to ask.
In the future, be sure to buy from a US authorized Canon Dealer.

Hey Rick, thanks!
Excellent point. Back then, my daughter wanted that camera badly for her birthday. I tried to buy it from Canon website directly but it was out of stock. Then I found it on Walmart for pretty much the same price as Canon directly so I didn't even worried about it.
Anyway, I will give them a call tomorrow. Thanks again.
