Hi! I’ve had my g7x for a few months and loved it, but i tried to use it to take pictures of my friends the other day and portrait mode is nowhere to be found. i can’t find it on the dial on the top, and it’s not in the menu anywhere? i’ve tried factory resetting it but it never changes anything. i just really love portrait mode and want to get it back on my dial. for some reason i have fireworks mode? never had that before. #PowerShot G7x Mark III

Set the top dial to SCN. Then choose the specific shooting mode (snippet from page 55 in the User Manual😞

Thanks for joining the conversation, abbygoodwin21!
So that the Community can help you better, we need to know exactly which Canon camera model you're using. In your original subject line, you referenced the PowerShot G7 X Mark II (which we kept after editing the subject line to better describe the issue) while the text portion references the PowerShot G7 X Mark III. Please let us know whether you're using the Mark II or the Mark III.
