I think your phone would work better.

Do you have it set for a small jpeg?

Thank you. I do not have a phone.

How do I set for small jpeg ?

You don't want a small jpeg, you want the largest file your camera can produce.

Someone you know must have a phone.

Also, try farther away from the camera, you might be too close to focus.

Can you post an example?

What you really need is a flat bed scanner.   There may be a small business in your area that prints documents.  They usually offer scanning, too.

Lost in space ???   And the importance of bringing into this the mouse bit??

Hi, darkgohan!

Welcome to the Canon Community! Some users have a signature, a blurb of information they chose to include as part of their profile. Some people list their Canon photography gear, while others just have their name and a favorite quote. The signature is never intended to be accusatory or hurtful, and usually, the information contained is helpful.
