I recently bought this ELPH 180 from Depop and it's being so problematic. The seller's sample photos all look great, but 1) it's giving me all these weird ripples on my photos and 2) the photos are all EXTREMELY washed out despite my ISO being 100 and the exposure compensation being -2. For some reason there is also no serial number on the bottom and since it's secondhand I can't register it for support. What is happening??

Greetings ,
DePop sounds like a great app for getting ripped off. Whatever you purchased, I suggest you return it and buy from a Canon Authorized Dealer instead.
Sounds like you bought somebody's junk, a broken or counterfeit item. I suggest you stay away from this headache. No warranty, no support = not a good purchase or idea.
