NFC wifi and "Canon camera connect" powerschot SX60 HS

Hi, what does NFC when I use it, at this moment only the "Canon camera connect" app on my android phone is started!

I did aspect that also the wifi connection to my camera wifi network is automatically would be connected to my android phone.

My question: can someone explain what will happen when using the NFC connection?
