my canon pictures are fuzzy/ blurry. Have reset to orgininal settings and tried several other cures.

Have you determined whether it's user error or a camera problem? That model doesn't have an Image Stabilizer so ANY camera shake will result in that kind of problem. but it also has a lot of pixels which will amplify camera shake problems. If you're like most people and are holding it out in front of you to look at the LCD to compose that's also going to contribute to user error. To find out if it's any of that or a camera problem you'll need to either mount it on a tripod or set it on /press it against something solid like a table top or door frame & take some photos. If that gives good results your problem is more likely camera shake which you'll need to learn a way to prevent. If it doesn't help I'd suspect focusing problems.
