My SX610 had been working and able to connect to my PC with no issues.
The named Connections to my computer and wifes computer were both listed on the camera as being available for connection.
But it would not connect to my wifes computer.
I had not attempted to see if the camera would connect to my computer.
My router configuration application showed that the camera was listed on the WLAN. So I assumed that it must be some sort of issue on the camera. I deleted the connection details to my wife's computer and turned it off/on...now I could only see my compter listed on the camera.
I am able to connect to the camera and download the photos onto my computer.
But no matter what I try on the camera it won't recognise my wife's computer...if I try and add a connection it just doesn't see my wife's computer.
Let me turn my wife's computer OFF, turn it back ON and see what happens.

Well after resetting the computer the problem persists.
I'm thinking that I need to delete the remaining connection on the camera and then see if I can get the camera to start afresh...maybe it will then allow us to pick things up.
Any suggestions?

Well I reset the camera - deleted the connection to my camera and voila!
The camera now sees both computers.
Looks like a bug in the software on the SX610. This workaround is not (as far as I can see) documented in the SX610 Camera User Guide.
Any comments especially from anyone at Canon ?
