Hi there!
We're so sad you're having trouble with your PowerShot G9 X. Remove the battery and memory card and leave them out for a few minutes. With the battery out, press & hold the power button for about 30 seconds to completely discharge the camera. Once you've done that, put ONLY the battery in and close the battery door. Try to turn on the camera and see if it works. After that, ensure your memory card is intact (not broken/damaged), then insert the card and try powering on the camera again.
If the camera fails at any point, you'll need to reach out to support. They're at 800-OK-CANON (800-652-2666), Monday through Saturday. You can also find personalized support options within your Canon Account at https://canon.us/account.
