I want to up date my camera

Hi I have a canon powershot sx 530with the full HD 50x optical zoom I would like to upgrade I like taking pics of the moon and nature do you guys have any suggestions 🙂

What is your budget?

I would like yo keep it under 1000 if possible

With a budget of $1000 USD you will not get results that are a cosmic leap forward over your current camera body.   

I recommend investing in a $250 semi-pro tripod, which is something you would need with an upgraded camera, anyway.  Most of the best moon photos you see were captured using a qualaity tripod.

As cool as it would be to take cosmic pics I would be ok with just a camera with a better zoom I'm just ready for the next step up I just not sure what that would be
