Hi Beauelway,
To turn off the Date Stamp feature, turn the camera on in the shooting mode and press the MENU button. Now scroll down to "Date Stamp", then use the right or left arrow button to choose "Off". Press MENU to exit the menu.

Hi. I have an older camera that I haven't used in years but it's in good working order. However, I can figure out how to turn off the time stamp. I see where to set it, but I want it turned off. It's a A4000 IS. Can someone help please? Thank you!

Hi, Julie72976!
To turn off the date stamp, hit the MENU button and scroll down into the camera menu until you find "Date Stamp." Change this option to "Off" and then hit the MENU button to exit the menu. That's all there is to it!
