Fastest way would be to perform a reset to defualts thru your settings menu. That will undo anything you may have accidentally switched on or off.
What mode were you shooting in ? Auto, Program, etc?

Well theres no telling how it might have happened thses cameras are pretty complex like mini computers with settings, buttons etc. Were you able to reset all the settings and get back to where you want to be in Custom with good shots using the flash?
