Filters for PowerShot SX60 HS

My wife and I are going to Iceland in a couple of months on a photo workshop.  We are both amateurs.  My wife is taking her PowerShot SX60 HS. 

The workshop organizer has asked that we have an "ND Filter" and a "Polarizer" for our cameras. 

I'm not familiar with these items and have not been able to find part and size information on these items for the PowerShot SX60 HS. 

Could one of you help translate this and provide a suggestion as what I need to get (where to get it would be nice, too).

Nice camera, I have the older SX50HS and yours uses the same filter adapter and 67mm filters as mine does.

The filter adapter you need is a FA-DC67A and the filters you mentioned should be 67mm size filters. You can get those from Canon of course or I like B&H Photo Video. Just beware of the really inexpensive filter adapters then tend to be weak and flimsy. I bought one at a fraction of the real Canon model and the difference was noticable. I wound up tossing it and getting the Canon part.
