Does anyone know if the PowerShot A520 can work with El Capitan?

I recently upgraded to El Capitan and the photos won't download from my PowerShot A520.  Is there a plug-in available that will make it compatible?

Hi, I couldn't figure out how to start a new topic so will reply to this one.  I have a Canon PowerShot A520 Digital Camera.  I recently upgraded to El Capitan and my pictures will no longer download onto my computer from the camera.  There are a couple tutorials to download new software to make it work, but when I enter the name of my camera on the Canon product page it detects El Capitan and says there is no available software or driver update.  Is there a way I can get my photos downloaded from the PowerShot 520 to my desk top?  Thanks Gary

You can use a card reader. It doesn't look like Camera Window is compatible beyond Yosemite.

Hi, can you tell me a bit more about the card reader?  I'm not familiar with it.  Is that something I can download or do I need to purchase it?  I want to be able to upload my photos and edit them (mostly just cropping) for selling on Ebay.  Thanks

Does your Mac have an SD card reader? Which Mac do you have?

Hi.  My company leased these from Apple in May of 2015.  I have an IMAC ghz intel core i5 with 8gb

Does the back of yours look like this? If so, insert SD card from camera iunto the underlined slot.
