My Canon Powershot SX540HS does NOT have a Date & Time stamp option in the camera menu. Below "Auto Settings" is:
Centering On
Auto Slow Shutter
Face ID Settings
It does not appear to be under Tools, either.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Would you expect there to be one? Placing the date and time on the image is going the way of the dodo bird, though I understand the need in certain situations.
Most folks just depend on the EXIF data.

Date and Time stamping for potential legal evidence

Most cameras can't do this. Again, did you expect it to?
I wish the courts would realize that this image data and time stamp is as easy to change as EXIF data, and therefore not a good indication of when an image was actually taken.
