Hi, I have the canon powershot sx720 hs, I have recently used the canon image gateway and downloaded everything needed to my macbook air and all photos and videos were transferred straight to my desktop. However, when I downloaded my video editing software, it needed me to update my macbook in order to use the app - after having updated to the latest software so that I could edit my content, the image transfer utility and all other folders that were automatically put on my desktop by canon are no longer able to be used. I have done some research and it is because canon does not have an up to date version of these facilities that are compatible with my macbook. I was wondering if a usb cable will work and if you could offer any other advice or guidance on how to connect with a USB or if there is anything else I can do in terms of using the wireless image transfer?
