Can't upload from sx260 with Apple Mavericks

I recently installed Mavericks on my Macbook Pro and now when I try to download pics from my Powershot sx260 hs, I get a message that the software can't find the camera. Is there anything I can do, or has Canon yet to write new software for Mavericks?

We have found that at long as the software is the latest version, it works with OS 10.9 most of the time.  I recommend that you download the update to CameraWindow DC 8.9.1 from our website.  Please CLICK HERE to go to the download page.
