Can I monitor what my SD 4500 sees as video, on my computer in real time?

I have a mount for my small SD4500 Digital Elph on the front of a cap.   This allows me to capture on video, what I do with my hands (I want to make insructional leather craft videos.)

Is there some way of seeing on my computer screen what the camera sees when I connect them with a USB cable?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to see a live display of what your camera sees while it is connected to your computer.  The live display of what the camera sees while it is recording can only be seen on the camera's LCD.
