I have an older power shot a530.
It works well but I use aa batteries and they used to last for a long time, now I barely get 25 photos before the batteries need changing comes up.
Can I start to use aa rechargeable batteries, will that make a difference or do I need to buy a new camera.
Thanks for any help.

Hi Lynban!
It sounds like the battery terminals (contacts) may be dirty. Check out our Knowledge Base article on "Tips For Batteries Not Lasting Very Long In The Camera" by clicking HERE.
If you've cleaned the battery terminals, and the issue persists, try purchasing a different brand of disposable batteries or invest in a set of rechargeable batteries. Should you still run into issues, you can find more help by contacting our Support Staff!
Hope this helps!
