Hi, kingofomaha, thanks for posting! The PowerShot SX500 IS does not have an accessory that will allow you to charge the battery without removing it from the camera. However, if your goal is to continuously shoot from a fixed position, or record long segments of video, we do have the AC Adapter Kit ACK-DC40 available to you. It will power the camera through a wall outlet, but will not allow you to disengage from the wall while shooting. Clink on the link below for details. We hope this helps!
