I have the Powershot A1400 and i am wondering if the Canon compatible AVC-DC400 AV cable will allow me to live view my realtime movie recording on my TV in real time, or is it only capable of playing back already recorded files. The problem i have is i am wanting to record myself playing instruments in the studio, and i would like to just browse out of the corner of my eye at my tv screen to see that i am in shot etc, rather than having to go out of shot behind the camera to evaluate the view.
