I recently read that laser printers can emit radiation, anyone have any knowledge about this?

I have enough knowledge to know that this kind of question is custom made for Google. Give it a try.

Canon issued a caution about INKJET printers emitting a magnetic field that could possibly affect pacemakers. That's a pretty big "possible", and would likely require holding the printer right up to your chest.

Laser printers do not emit any "radiation".  They use static electricity for image transfer. They do use high voltages to electrically charge their drums for toner transfer, but there isn't a big electric field that radiates out from the printer. Relax. Someone is trying to create a false panic.

If you take it apart, you can get *laser* radiation that can damage your eye, but it is usually buried deep in the printer, and even then you would have to work at it with a magnifying glass.
