I connected a tripp-lite usb sharing device so two office mates can share the same printer. Printing function works great, but scanner does not. The following error message pops up: "ScanGear MF Cannot communicate with the scanner. The cable may be disconnected, or the scanner may be turned off. Check the scanner status and try again. Scanner driver with be terminated." I've reinstalled the mf toolbox drivers and then the scanner works properly, but once the other office mate utilizes the printer sharing switch, the communication error pops up. Any suggestions on how to make a permanent fix as opposed to reinstalling the mf toolbox drivers every day? Thanks in advance!
