I purchased non canon cartridge for my printer. I just put them in and my screen is flashing "A non canon or counterfeit cartridge may be inserted" and "cannot use the print function"
How do I bypass this?

Welcome to the forum!
Please make sure that you are only using genuine Canon toner cartridges as we cannot guarantee the compatibility of 3rd party toners. Learn more about counterfeits at: https://canon.us/43aM0b3

Hi Cheri27,
Some 3rd party toners will not work with your Canon printer. They might claim compatibility but are often not manufactured to the same standards as OEM brand toners. Using them can be risky. To avoid this, using OEM toners is recommended. Genuine Canon inks and toners come with a warranty and will provide the best results.
