imageCLASS MF455dw scanning doesn't work, scans to Word instead of PDF

Hello I am new here.  I have a real issue, for some reason my scans do not work and also it sometimes scans to Word instead of PDF.  I do not know how to find this "Canon Utlity folder or IJ Scan Utility." anywhere.

I have a Canon Image Class MF455dw and I use Windows 10.  Where do you find anything to do with the Canon printer, for the scanner????

On the other note, so many times when I scan especially several pages, it gives an error that it did not

scan, however, no reason is given, nor explanation.

To use the scanner and control the settings, you would use our MF scan utility software. To locate the software on your computer, you can click on the windows search option at the bottom of your computer screen and search for scan. If the computer is unable to locate the MF scan utility software, you can perform the install using the setup disc again or you can download and install the recommended downloads from our site.
