I just purchased an mf455dw. Everything is set up and working fine except that whenever I try to print something, it will only print if I manually insert paper into the feeder. It will not take paper from the drawer. I have tried to reconfigure the settings without success. What is the correct setting so that the printer, unless otherwise instructed, will take paper from the tray?

Hello,
If you get a message on the printer and you have to confirm the paper size and type display to start the printing, or the computer is unable to select the paper tray properly, it usually means the incorrect printer driver is being used. You can try reinstalling the current version of the Windows driver from our site ([Windows 64bit] MF455dw MFDrivers (Generic Plus UFR II) using the link HERE. It will be at the top of the list and will have Recommended written above it.
If reinstalling the drivers did not resolve the issue, you can also check the paper settings for the tray you have the paper loaded into. Make sure it matches the paper size and type that you are selecting in the print window on the computer.
