I just bought a new computer running windows 10 home and cannot get the computer to recognize the MF3240 as anything other than a scanner. I've reinstalled the drivers from the Canon site and no luck. It only comes up as a scanner. My previous computer was also running windows 10 home and worked without issue. Any help is appreciated.
Thank you.

I have Windows 10 and MF3240.
Tried all the steps individually installing the INF files in 64bit installer
It installs successfully but DOES not print.
When tried to print the test page it does not print just says Error ,..no message...
Am I missing something? Please help

HI-
I'm having the same problem getting my MF3200 to link to my computer after upgrading to Windows 10 (using the manual load method listed above.)
I get to the step where you go into the Device Manager but I have no "other files" file listed.
What can I do?
Mucho thanks for your help.

UPDATE
I searched each of the Device Manager icons and found MF3200 and MF3200 (fax) files in the Software Device file. I tried updating each of these files but got a message back saying I already had the most recent file.
I still can't get the computer to "recognized" my MF3240 as a printer.
Can anyone help?
Thanks. SR

This install .inf works for me and I finally got the printer working but no scanner which is fine with me. The installing wasn't successfully initially and I have to remove device a few time and unplug USB cable Everytime until I finally got lucky.

I did exact the same, the print driver was still no show up. I ask ChatGPT and other AI, they recommend the same procedure but end up no result. I go through a few times, juts try - go to Canon support site, find my printer, download, install as administrator, and then use Window's device manager, indicated as have disk, and then browsed to choose the installed MF3200.INF (downloaded product mode is MF3240), this suppose should have the printer driver installed, but none. I do not want to waste more time, the bottom line is anyone can tell me if anyone did it successfully install this printer Driver to a newer PC with Window 11. If anyone surely confirm that this printer is not compatibles Window 11, then I will not waste time to tyr . But if it is compatible with Window 11, can anyone help, instruct me and maybe other people, how and what is the correct way to install the printer's driver. My printer is old, but still work well, I do not like just to throw it away, and Canon do not want to support this one anymore, event just a confirm motion that if this one can work with window 11, too bad! If I need to buy a new printer, for this kind of no support, I will consider others with better support and service.
