I have a Canon MF249dw printer as a local printer on a Windows 10 desktop connected by usb. When I now switch on the printer, the printer itself prints 4 to 6 pages. On the first page there are a few lines and the rest are blank:
POST /ipp/print HTTP/1.1
Connection: Keep-Alive
Content-type: application/ipp
User-agent: Windows Internet Print Provider
Content-Length: 571
Host: local host"

What is this and why has it started doing it this week? How do I fix this?

Hi there, this is a Windows update issue, new drivers won't fix it, it only seems to affect USB connected printers, not just Canon, but other brands too.

The issue seems to have calmed down considerably now. I have not had a problem for several days. And yes, it is a USB connected printer. Nice to see Windows is sharing the wealth with other printer manufacturers.
