Hi,
I’m in the process of getting my Canon ImageCLASS mf232w printer set up on my new Dell computer with Windows 11. I’ve followed what I thought to be the correct procedure, but despite the fact that I can successfully print, I’m finding that I still cannot scan. In fact, when I try to open the MF Scan Utility, right off the bat it gives me a pop-up error message saying “A scanner driver supporting this software is not installed.”
I’d already installed what I thought were the proper drivers, right from Canon’s own support site; but obviously I must have missed something. Can anybody walk me through the proper procedure for doing this? Thanks.
(One more note: The connection between my printer and computer is via USB. The thought did cross my mind that the cable could be bad – but likely not, considering I am able to print.)
TIA for any help, advice, or suggestions anyone is able to offer!
