Model MF212W. The printer works great!! Problem is the scanner. It says I need a driver so I download the suggested driver from the Canon website. (BTW I have Mac 15.01 sequoia 15.1.1). I then go to the Canon MF scan utility. Click on it and it says "
No available scanner found.
Follow the instructions in the User's Guide for the scanner driver to add the scanners you are using."
I did not see a user's guide for this only a download called mac-scan v21517-00. Is this the right driver? So why doesn't the scan utility recognize my unit? Any help is deeply appreciated.

Greetings,
How is your printer connected and to what please? If you open image capture, is the scanner accessible there?
