I am having this same issue. As there was no reply to the prior question, I will see if there is an answer you can provide now.
I am using a Color Image Class LBP622Cdw printer. When I have tried to print more than one copy of any document (I have tried more than one file from more than one program) it is only printing one copy of the document. This has isolated the issue to the printer and not to the program or the file. It is not even the file type, as I have tried it from a .PNG, a .PDF, and a .DocX file type by converting it through Google Drive.
I have owned this printer for years and it worked just fine until the last 2 months, following moving to a new home.
Originally the printer was hard wired through a USB cable. One of the FAQ's I found said that USB connections could be at fault for this issue, so I switched it over to the WiFi in the house. It did not fix the issue.
I installed the most up to date driver. I restarted the computer. It did not fix the issue.
I have printed out of both Chrome and Edge. It did not fix the issue.
What is the next thing I should try. I'm out of ways I can figure out to troubleshoot it and the rest of the FAQ's tell me to change a setting that doesn't exist in my device settings menu.

i have LBP 212 dw printer. i had the same problem for two weeks. i solved my problem as follows
1. downloaded the latest firmware; extracted and read the guide.
2. connected the printer via usb cable to PC
3. put the printer to download mode
4. placed the next command until all was installed. tried the multiple printing and it worked just fine. i am sure it will work for you
