I have a Canon Imageclass LBPb22 Cdw printer. When I print a page, the printer will beep and tell me I have "No Paper LTR: Plain 1". I assume that means I have no paper in tray 1. I then have to scroll down to the choice "LTR: Plain 2". I choose that option and it prints. I've played around with the setting, but can't figure out how to get my print to print without me having to scroll down and choose a different option.

Greetigs,
There are two places where you can set the default paper tray settings.
One is on the printer, the other is in the printer driver.

I get the "No Paper" gripe whenever I change a print setting on my Windows 11 computer (EG, changing paper size, orientation, scale, etc). To get everything working normally again, I go to the "Printers & Scanners" Windows settings page and remove and then re-add the printer in question. After that everything works normally.
