imageCLASS MF453dw won't scan on new computer, prints OK

• have a new computer. windows 11. trying to get my canon mf453dw to work. It will print from computer, but will not scan TO computer or FROM computer (controls) MF utility is installed but error message says it cannot connect to printer.
