imageCLASS LBP6030w not feeding - has never printed

I bought this printer:: imageCLASS LBP6030w back in late September 2023 as a gift - was opened and hooked up in early November.  All connected and looks like mechanically ready to go but no dice - it pulls paper in a slight bit and ten jams... over and over and over again....  to this day it has not successfully printed anything.  Registering the products today and looking for support on this...  I have already looked at all the YouTube videos and do not seem to have any of the mechanical issues that these other printers have.  This is BRAND NEW,
