iPF6400 User Needs Some Help

jeegunkim

Hi All,

I've been having so many issues with my iPF6400 the past week but I finally got it working again.

I have only printed 24" wide prints since I purchased the printer and havev been experimenting with 8.5x11's. Printing 24' wide prints worked out great, just had to test out differnet paper rolls but whenever I print an 8.5x11. the image quality is really bad as it looks very distored from the origjnal image.

My file formats for printing on 8.5x11's are .tif files, 2700x1800 @ 300PPi, CMYK Color mode, is there something I'm missing?

Please help!

Thanks in adavance!

I am running OS X Yosemite 10.10.5 with Adobe CC using PS and LR.

Printing is done through the iPF6400 PS plugin.

Please help!

Thanks!

@jeegunkim

Hello.

The issue may be related to the dimensions of the image or item that you are attempting to print.  Try using the Crop tool in your software and enter the 8.5"x11" dimensions to crop the image.  This should help with the distortion.
