Good day
I hope you are well.
We have an issue with a Canon i-SENSYS MF237w (and a Canon Maxify MB2040) with an intermittent communication issue. Most of the time, using USB or WiFi, it can take a long time to print a document( types does not matter, the issue is document independent), sometimes over 30 minutes. It is not all the time, but most of the time. The next day, the above issue is not presenting itself and printing is fine. Another issue presenting itself, is that scanning does not work unless we disable, then enable the scanning driver.
We have uninstalled/installed multiple times (using Windows or a 3rd party uninstaller), the original and currently available drivers for both the printer and scanner. Over a WiFi connection we sometimes have to switch off the printer before it will be detected on the network. All sleep features/functions have been disabled to test power saving mode as a culprit, too no avail.
All this happened after the Windows 11 was updated to the latest release. We also can not un-install the feature update because it is after the 30 days window for this to be an option.
Is there any known solutions to this issue? There are a lot of online entries regarding the same issue with different people using different Canon products from around the world: slow printer and scanning issues after Windows 11 updated to the latest release.
Kind Regards
