My MB2320 has been a super printer, but in a couple of months has quit. It turns on, (and now sometimes won't turn off, ie, won't respond to the off/on button, requiring pulling the power cord), and then continuously seems to be cycling it's start-up routine. After a few minutes of this repetitive cycling behavior, it gives a Support Code B504. The suggested power down/power up fix doesn't help, and I am directed to the Service Dept.
I'm assuming I can't call them until Monday, as today is Sunday, and I assume they'll be off work today. Does anyone have any experience with this failure? Is it hardware, or firmware? If it's firmware, is there a component I can replace, or must it be done at a Canon service center? Any ideas or comment welcome!! Bob B.
