Toner replenishment service verification code is incorrect

jamesjdudley

I am trying to enroll in the toner replenishment service. I have followed the prompts on the computer and have scanned the QR code on my phone. I enter the serial number provided as well as the verification code that I printed out. I enter the type of printer and then hit continue but get an error message that my verification code is incorrect, so I am dead in the water, with no recourse to take. Any solutions? Thanks

Hi there!

Try the following and see if you can complete registration:

  • Visit https://canon.us/mysubscriptions and log into your My Canon Account
  • Tap on the red "SEE MY PRINTERS" button under the pastel-toned circle icon that says "Auto Replenishment Service."
  • From there, you should see your printer, but it will likely have an exclamation mark inside a blue circle indicating registration isn't complete:

  • Tap "View printer setup instructions."
  • You'll see a bright red banner. Tap "Activation Instructions" and follow them.

NOTE: If nothing happens, a pop-up was blocked:

The next page will ask you to select your printer model and then give you model-specific instructions on how to verify that the printer's firmware is up-to-date, retrieve the serial number/check the verification, activate the Auto Replenishment Service, and validate the connection.

Once you've done this, the printer is registered for Auto Replenishment Services (ARS).

If something goes wrong, give support a call at 800-OK-CANON (800-652-2666). They're available weekdays from 9am to 6pm (ET).
