I recently acquired a Canon MF644Cdw color laser AIO.
I've managed to get it printing wirelessly and scanning to email without much trouble.
But the print quality is horrible. Prints and copies are created. But there is always streaking of toner - black and colors - on the page.
The person I got it from believed it just needed new toner. He had used some cheap stuff and said the print quality was great prior to that.
Because I've got it working now, I'd like to see if I can achieve good quality output with better toner cartridges. But its a big investment to just "test". Does anyone have exerience with this? If I buy better toner (presumably the expensive Canon stuff) am I likely to get normal output. If not, is it possible to return the toner?
Thanks in advance for any advice

Just closing the loop.
I found some aftermarket toner that was rated highly. Solved the problems immediately.
