Yes, you can absolutely use sticker paper with the PIXMA MG3640S!

The printer is compatible with a variety of specialty media, including Canon's official Photo Stickers (PS-101), as well as standard plain papers and glossy photo sheets.

Here is a quick breakdown of the compatible papers and sizes supported by this unit:

Compatible Media Types

  • Stickers & Specialty: Canon Photo Stickers (PS-101), T-Shirt Transfers, and Envelopes.

  • Photo Papers: Photo Paper Pro Platinum (PT-101), Photo Paper Plus Glossy II (PP-201), Photo Paper Pro Luster (LU-101), Photo Paper Plus Semi-gloss (SG-201), Matte Photo Paper (MP-101), and Glossy Photo Paper "Everyday Use" (GP-501/GP-601).

  • Standard Papers: Plain Paper (including recycled paper) and High Resolution Paper (HR-101N).

Supported Paper Sizes

  • Standard Sizes: A4, A5, B5, Letter, and Legal.

  • Photo Sizes: 10x15 cm (4"x6"), 13x18 cm (5"x7"), and 20x25 cm (8"x10").

  • Envelopes: European DL and US Com 10.

  • Custom/Non-standard Sizes: Anywhere from a minimum of 89.0 x 127.0 mm (3.5" x 5") up to a maximum of 215.9 x 676.0 mm (8.5" x 26.61").

Quick Tips for Printing Stickers:

  1. Load one sheet at a time: To prevent paper jams or sheets sticking together, only place a single sheet of sticker paper into the front tray at a time.

  2. Face down: Make sure to load the sticker paper with the glossy/printable side facing down in the front paper tray.

  3. Change your print settings: Before clicking print, go into your printer driver settings and change the Media Type from Plain Paper to Glossy Photo Paper or Sticker Paper. This ensures the printer applies the right amount of ink so it dries properly without smudging.

Hope this helps you get your stickers printed perfectly!
