I'm sure this is a dumm (sic) question, but when I go to the printer settings of the MF269dw, it shows a staple function. I didn't think (and couldn't find) that my unit has that ability. Am I wrong?
Thanks.

Greetings,
I am not aware of a staple feature on the MF269dw.

The only reference to staple is "do not insert into the ADF... and if you will use a manual stapler for binding (long or short edge). See page 409.
As far as I can tell, there is no staple feature.

Yep, that's what I saw too. The only reason I thought there MIGHT have been a feature for stapling was because it was in the printer driver that you COULD turn to "Yes".
Ultimately, i didn't think it did, but thought I'd check to see if it was there just in case... might be nice to have on occasion.
Thanks.
