We are using Avery labels and no matter what option we choose to print the label paper, we are unable to get the printer to recognize it. It spits out the label and gives a warning about mismatch paper size. The only time we were able to even see 'label' as an option was under A4 - Labels and it would still give the error. We also manually entered the size of the label paper (4 x 6) to which it made no difference. Pretty disappointed we dished out nearly $500 on this printer and it's already giving us this issue. Our old HP printer auto recognized the label and printed correctly. Even manually entering the details does not work on this Canon.

Greetings,
The issues might be related to the software you are using to print from?
What OS and version?
What application are you printing from?
Canon is selling for $349.... Amazon is even less. local retailers are gouging you at $500

Thanks for the response, Rick.
We are using Windows 7 professional and printing from Microsoft Word. We don't seem to have any issues printing anything else (envelopes, docs, PDF's etc) but the only problem thus far are labels. No matter what settings we've used, it gives us a mismatch paper size warning which is odd since we manually entered the details for the label paper.

Hi schud122.
Label sheets are only supported on the D1620 through the multipurpose tray. If they're loaded in the paper drawer, it may not feed or register correctly.
If the error is occurirng when using the multi-purpose tray, ensure you're setting the correct size and type for the label sheets.
