Since Google Cloud Print is being discontinued at the end of the month, is there a supported (or unsupported) way to continue to print to the printer from ChromeBooks? My school kids would really like to be able to print their assignments since we're all stuck at home 😞
The printer does officially support IPP which I should be able to use to print from ChromeOS, but I haven't found any documentation on what the IPP settings are, the default ipp/print queue name doesn't seem to work.

I'm specifically asking regarding an imageCLASS MF642Cdw

I was able to point it to the IP address of the printer, using the default settings in ChromeOS. Unfortunately it maps directly to the IP, so make sure your printer is configured statically.
