Does an idle (Sleep Mode) printer perform any background processing?
Such as periodic firmware upgrade, or Toner status, check?
(Trying to diagnose LBP622Cdw E733-005 Error which typically tends to occur during Sleep and after short mechanical printer noise - Sounds like quick print mechanism reset or toner check)
Thanks,
Bob

Greetings,
Follow the troubleshooting steps in this KB article. If the error does not resolve, the printer will require service.

Rick, Thanks for the reply but tried cited solution without resolution. Also talked to Canon Technical support but forgot to ask about "Idle Processing" as mentioned in original post. Prints fine and error only occasionally during Sleep - Can't help but think related to some sort of periodic idle check. And if so, maybe not a serious problem...
