I've got this printer that I've had for probably ten years.
Works great.
We recently went through a change of homes, twice actually.
Before all this, I had it set up via a Network Connection and all was good. I was the primary user of the scanner, so my Win10 pro machine was the only one with the full driver suite (from Canon) installed.
After move 1, my wife was to use the printer. Her desktop was wireless as there were no ethernet connections nearby. So I connected the printer to her machine via USB and all was well.
After move 2, we are going back to the previous setup with the printer nearer to my machine.
I plug the printer into the network and can ping to it. I can print to it from a Linux box.
Using the MF Driver - Setup Wizard, Windows refuses to find the printer either in a scan of the network or entering the IP address in directly.
I can install the printer from Control->Devices and Printers, but just the printer, no scanner.
Using a USB cord, the scanner is immediately recognized.
I've turned off Windows firewall in the hopes that would help, but it made no difference.
My current Windows install is Pro Version 22H2.
Any ideas how I can get Windows to find the printer/scanner via the network connection.
If I have to, I'll use this via a USB connection, but eventually I want to move the printer farther away from the printer and that becomes a problem.
Another issue, I can't seem to access the maintenance console for the machine. It won't accept the default PIN (7654321). Any ideas on how to reset the machine to default setting?
Thanks in advance,

In what world would you think that this response was helpful?
If it's a retired product, then tell me how to reset the PIN.
Maybe then I can figure out what's going on.
