New computer doesn't see my imageCLASS MF455dw

Hello,

Could use some help on this one.

Currently using Canon ImageClass MF455dw printer scanner.  I got a new computer and I'm working to connect the new computer with ImageClass MF455dw printer scanner. . With my previous/older computer, I was able to use the printer/scanner screen to go to Scan > Computer > and my computer would show up and I could scan directly to my computer.  My new computer is not showing up and for the life of me I can't remember how I connect the two.  Is there anyone that would be able to assist?  Thank you.

Greetings,

The printer supports 4 connection methods.  Three are capable of Scan to PC.  Please let us know the following:

What operating system version and build are you using the printer with? 

How is your printer connected and to what?

For printing and scanning you need to install 2 drivers.  However, i just noticed that driver downloads are missing from the the product's support portal.

Im sure this is temporary.  I'll reach out to the web services team and let them know.
