Microsoft Releases Fix For Scanning Issues After Windows 11 24H2 Is Applied - KB5048667

Microsoft has released a patch which is said to address the scanning failures windows 11 users are experiencing after feature release 24H2 is applied.  Many people have reported issues using ScanGear and the MF Scan Utility. 

KB5048667 should download automatically from Windows Update.  If you want to apply the patch manually, you can visit the Windows Update Catalog, download the run the patch yourself.

After applying the update, restart your system and test scanning.

Patch applied but still no luck.  ☹️
