We have a Maxify MB2720 and are migrating to a new server which facilitates updating the Scan to Destination setup. The destination file share is set properly, the new server is on a separate vLAN due to security controls (security controls do not inhibit the destination though).
Anyway, the MB2720 is on an IP subnet of 10.0.1.x and the destination scan folder is on a separate subnet of 10.0.10.x. Accessing the device interface, printing to, etc. work without an issue but scanning to the new destination on a different subnet does not work so well. Has anyone figured out a work around to scan to a destination not on the same subnet?

Hello.
We can only support scanning on the local network that the printer is connected to directly. Please consult a network expert to see if there are any solutions for your particular issue.

I'm the network expert and have been working this issue ever since we got the unit. It's our internal so it doesn't take the priority that one at a client site would. The unit is connected to the local network as you say, it just needs to be on a different vLAN due to security requirements.
Unfortunately, the solution is not accepted.
Anyone have any ideas?
