MX870 won't recognise new cartridges.

Hello, 

My MX870 won't recognise new cartridges and is each one is showing a red light. Hence I can't print.

Any help appreciated.

Hi I have the same problem. All new cartridges. But they are dissimilar Black are Canon, colour are Calidad any ideas. Have had dissimilar cartridges before without issue

As another note. 

The Canon are not recognised, yet the Calidad are

I don't have an answer for you- but where do you get the Calidad? Never heard of it. Are they cheaper?
